ELEMENTS OF LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY

Whether you want to capture and share the beauty of the world around you or just create a memory of a special place and time, using the basic elements and techniques taught in this class can improve your landscape images.

LOCAL IN-PERSON CLASS: This course includes three 2-hour classroom-type sessions and one 2-hour guided shoot on beautiful Mobile Bay. The next class will meet October 21st, 28th, November 4th and 11th. The class will meet weekly at the lovely R Bistro restaurant (restaurant closed during the class) located at 19270 Scenic Highway 98, Fairhope, AL. If you’d like more info, send a message HERE.

ONLINE CLASS: This online course includes four 2-hour live classes via Google Meet (like Zoom). If you’d like more info, send a message HERE. Classes will be on Sunday evenings 7-9pm, October 27th, November 3rd, 20th, and 17th.. If you are interested in a Monday morning option, please send that request HERE.

Debi Parnell is an award-winning fine art photographer whose images have been featured in publications such as Only in Alabama, Alabama the Beautiful, This is Alabama, and recently, the cover of Mobile Bay Magazine. For four years, she has been teaching landscape photography classes in a gallery and guided photography sessions on location in Daphne and Fairhope. In 2022, after receiving repeated requests for an online class, she developed a version of these photography classes for those who were not local or who preferred a virtual class. Debi grew up in Mobile, Alabama, but now makes her home in Baldwin County, Alabama. An outdoor enthusiast, Debi loves beholding the wonders of creation!  She enjoys spending time in the woods, in fields, and especially on the water. Debi is not only passionate about capturing beautiful images, but about sharing them with others, as well. She wants them to behold the “wonder”, too!
